Your Fabric or Ours.
Start with the material already specified for your design, or source available fabrics through Workroom Center and coordinate fabrication in the same workflow.

Already found the right fabric?
Send it directly to the workroom from your studio, showroom or supplier. The material is associated with the corresponding project and order before fabrication.
Read COM Guidelines →Need material as well as fabrication?
Available fabric collections can give designers another route when material has not already been sourced. The long-term goal is to connect fabric selection and treatment configuration inside the same trade account.

Width, repeat and direction can change the job.
The same treatment can require very different cutting plans depending on the selected material. Fabric width, usable width, vertical and horizontal repeat, railroaded use, motif placement and defects can all matter.
That is why the workroom needs the material information, not simply the color and yardage.
Material details that affect fabrication.
Fabric Width
Usable width affects seaming, treatment widths and total yardage requirements.
Pattern Repeat
Vertical and horizontal repeats influence cutting and matching across widths.
Direction
Directional fabrics and railroaded applications need to be identified before cutting.
Pattern Placement
Centered motifs, stripes and decorative elements can require specific workroom instructions.
Condition
Visible flaws, shortages or inconsistencies may need to be addressed before fabrication.
Suitability
Some materials require discussion depending on treatment style, size and expected performance.
Bring the fabric you love, or let Workroom Center help complete the specification.
The important part is keeping material and fabrication connected to the same project.
